Sentry 3.0 is now in beta testing and is the successor for Sentry Professional, originally released all the way back in 1999.  Sentry 3 is a complete rewrite and features complete control of the screen layout, multi-user support, Internet support, and more.  Now you can lock your workstation in style... your style.

Sentry 3.0 Beta 5 [ 11/1/2006 ] Sentry 3.0 Beta 5 is now out with major changes: Sentry is now self-contained (no SentryLaunch needed) Fixed idle-launch problems USB Integration improved (uses relative paths) FIX: Cancel after going into options no longer reloads page. FIX: HTML gets proper input focus FIX: Uninstalled now prompts to remove log files FIX: Uninstaller now removes registry keys. BUG: Power -> Hibernate...auth form has scrollbars **FIXED BUG: feedback window on top of frmAuth/frmUnlock **FIXED Task manager now disabled if already started Added %LONGDATE% Download Beta 5 here (expires October 31st). Please UNINSTALL existing versions before installing Beta 5.  As there are major changes, please SAVE YOUR WORK before running the program, and be mindful of Sentry's memory usage with Task Manager.  I will give away a free license for anyone who submits a unique bug report for Beta 5!  This version expires January 1st, 2007, when a new version will be available.  Stay tuned for further Sentry announcements. Send Feedback about Beta 5 Vista compatibility:  The screen saver preview painting (In Screensaver tab) seems to crash Windows Vista, RC2, 64-bit.   This is a known issue.

Sentry 2.54 released ... Sentry 3.0 Beta in 9 days  [ 2/14/2006 ] Sentry 2.54 is released, fixing a registration bug. A public beta version of Sentry 3.0 will be posted on 2-23-06, or in 9 days!

 

Sentry 2.53 Released! [ 9/11/2005 ] 2.53 fixes a couple bugs and adds an optional Power menu (turn off monitor, standby, hibernate)
